Hello again from everybody here at Professionals!

It has been another busy month so far for us and with Summer almost here and the market continuously growing with interest we are seeing more properties being listed for sale. This is quite normal for this time of year however it makes first impressions extremely important. Here are some tips that I think make a home really stand out on inspections, and although other properties may also do the same, at least you will know that you have given yourself every opportunity to let your home shine!

Manicure your gardens and lawns
Clean your gutters
Open your curtains and blinds so there is plenty of natural light
Open windows so there is plenty of ventilation
Put shoes away
Put toilet seat down
Make the beds
Unlock all doors allowing for easy access
Shut cupboard doors (even though people might want to look through them, it always looks neater)
Put dishes away (preferably don’t leave them on the sink)
Turn TV off
And always, ensure the house smells fresh!

These are just some of the things that make inspections a pleasure for the purchaser and for us as an agent as well, and it certainly means feedback on presentation will be positive!
