School zones are now back in force which means that motorists must follow the 40km/h speed limits. Most school zones operate between the hours of 8am and 9:30am in the morning and between 2:30pm and 4pm in the afternoon.   There are some non-standard school zones that operate at different times though, but these can be recognised by red or orange signs and they should also have flashing lights to remind motorists to slow down during their operating times.

It is very important that motorists remember to slow down in school zones so as to prevent accidents and make the areas safer. It is also a good idea to be careful around all school areas and not just the designated school zones.

Hopefully if we all keep to the road rules, we can all help keep Armidale’s roads accident free; and good luck for the year ahead to all of the students starting and returning to school this week.

All of these things are fantastic however vendors must be realistic with their price expectations if wanting to sell, long gone are the days where the “miracle buyer from Sydney “will appear and buy over the odds!!

Buyers are so well prepared no with property data and sales statistics that they no what value is….as a vendor look at your profit compared to what you paid for the home to what you will sell it for and 9 times out of 10 you will be well in front!!!
