In the lead-up to the Armidale Dumaresq Council election, it might be time to learn more about what it is that the council actually does.

Armidale residents will have the opportunity to do just that this week when the council opens its doors and presents its services as part of Local Government Week in NSW.

As part of Local Government Week, local residents will be able to take part in activities where you can learn more about the Armidale Digital Hub, tour our Waste Management Facility and learn about the council’s many other services.

If you head to the Armidale Dumaresq Council website you can find out about the events that will be taking place as part of Local Government Week, which runs from August 13 to 19.

Remember the Armidale local government election will be held on Saturday September 8, so the local government week events will be a great opportunity to interact with the local council and perhaps help you decide what is important to you when you vote.
